We have passed by this place in BF Paranaque numerous time but we never tried it. That day, @jie_golo remembered that I like ilocos empanada so he decided to try this place.
When we entered and checked, they don't have ilocos empanada, but the place did not disappoint us.
Caveat: I have not been to Ilocos so pardon me about this post. What I know is we enjoyed what we ate :D
In a phrase: Takaw kanin!

The interior |
The place is not big. It was narrow with about 7 to 8 tables. But the place gave that homey vibe.

Dinakdakan |
My first time to try this ilocano dish. According to the description, it is pugon-baked pork in Balai's signature sauce. It was both crunchy and chewy.
Parang sisig :P

Papaitan |
The only papaitan Ive loved was when my cousin's
barkada cooked a big pot during her 18th birthday. This one can compete. It tasted clean and all the meat were very tender. We finished the broth up to the last drop.
Dedma sa uric acid! :P
When they give you the bill. Interesting.
